  • Your Daily 'Brief'

baskit Lucky 7 Swim Bikini Yesterday's brief got lost, in a manner of speaking, while I was working on my laptop and my laptop decided to blow up.  I mean a literal ZAP!  So I am fired up the old desktop, having to stop every couple minutes and turn the crank.

I am going to do my best to dig through my trash folder to find the information I was working on yesterday and then include what came in over night.  Today's format might look a little different as I combined offers that came in yesterday and today.

In keeping with the Red Speedo theme I talked about in the last 'Brief' and in needing a little "eye candy" for inspiration, I chose to highlight the baskit Lucky 7 Swim Bikini in today's 'Brief'.

Available in numerous colours and priced at $34 by Skiviez.com this bikini will surely show off your 'bod' both pool side and at the beach and make the other guy's jealous they don't have as much style as you do.

  • Awkward?

2xist Fusion No Show Brief Black I came across an article yesterday at QUEERTY titled, "Awkward" in which they pointed out that International Jock was running a Father's Day sale to promote C-IN2 and 2(x)ist stock.

However, they thought it was odd to be offering sexy underwear and jockstraps as Father's Day gift ideas.

Is it weird that International Jock, the website for underwear and swimsuits, is running a Father’s Day sale, encouraging customers to buy 2(x)ist and C-IN2 gear for their dads?

I suggested that it was highly probably that a person could purchase underwear for their partner who was a father, for both a heterosexual or homosexual couple and this would not be awkward at all.

Even as I wrote this another idea popped into my head, if you are a father, why not treat yourself to some cool sexy undies?

    Thoughts? Ideas?

Today's UndiesDrawer Forum "Post of the Day" is in the UndiesDrawer Forums, Under the Dressing Room area, called "Let's Talk About Sex." I don't know about you, but my ultimate sexual fantasy involves underwear in some way, shape or form. Mine involves me, my high school workout partner, the locker room and two pairs of tighty whities. Of course I already know my ultimate underwear fantasy, now we want to hear all about yours.

  • Johnny Underscore Reviews the AussieBum Lightning Hipster

Consistently producing bold and fun men's underwear and swimwear, AussieBum took it to the extreme with the AussieBum Lightning Hipster trunks. The total number of cubic inches in the waistband alone of the AussieBum Lightning Hipsters is nearly that of an entire pair of the diminutive Jameswinston Co. Petit Briefs.  AussieBum says this is the widest metallic high defintion waistband ever made. This aggressive styling is meant to be shown off.

    Aussiebum lightning mens underwear
These hipsters blend a clearly masculine look with whimsy and they do it well. While they may not be everyone's style, they're a bold way for guys who like a bit more beef in their britches to show their style without crudely showing off their stuff.

AussieBum Lightning Hipsters are true to size but definitely designed for a snug fit.  Made from 87 percent micro modal and 13 percent Spandex, they're both breathable and stretchy.

The very large size and care tag has the advantage of being extremely easy to read (Cool gentle wash. Do not tumble dry. Line dry in shade. Cool iron. Do not bleach.) It was a bit scratchy at first but this wasn't noticeable after just a few minutes of wear. The inside of the waistband is lined with a material not unlike that of many C-IN2 lines. The construction seems impeccable, with no loose treads or sloppy stitching. The large label also proudly boasts "Made in Australia."

The front crotch area, framed with contrasting piping, is sans fly and double layered with the very soft micro modal/Spandex material. Not really designed for an enhancing effect, the front of these hipsters are nonetheless flattering because of the stretchy, supportive spandex.

After a day of wear the hipsters didn't bunch up or lose their shape in the least. The leg portion of the material stayed put as well. These hipsters are comfortable enough for every day wear to work, certainly impressive enough for a night out -- especially one where someone else might end up seeing your underwear, and they're supportive enough to wear when playing sports. Because of the premium materials and their accompanying restrictive care instructions, AussieBum Lightning Hipsters are more likely special occasion "lucky underwear" than something to wear for a pickup basketball game.

Available in four tartan prints: bolt (blue), surge (pink) flash (black and yellow) and electric (blue and white). $30.56 at AussieBum.com.

    MY RATING:
Overall, I give the AussieBum Lightning Hipster trunks a total score of 8.75 based on the following criteria:
    FIT --  9 (out of 10)
    STYLE --  9 (out of 10)Underwear Review Rating 9

    QUALITY -- 9(out of 10)
