Ever since we posted our first article about Daniel Craig's swimwear in the latest James Bond film, Casino Royale, we've been searching high and low for a supplier of the blue Grigio Perla squarecut that's turning heads around the world.

Thus far, we've been unable to find an online retailer. But one of our loyal readers sent us this tip:
I live in New York City and called La Perla on Madison Avenue seeking the "James Bond" swimsuit. They did not have any and referred me to their Beverly Hills store. I was able to order one from La Perla Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. They do not have a website to offer this type of sales. I called 310-860-0561 and spoke with Courtney C. She emailed me a form I had to fax back with my credit card information and signature.
In our search for information on the swimsuit we found the news that this newly iconic photo of James Bond star Daniel Craig showing his toned torso and the tight blue squarecuts wasn't planned at all.
According to film producer Barbara Broccoli, the shot was entirely
coincidental. She explained that Daniel Craig had to go into the sea
for a scene for "Casino Royale". But when he came out all the women on
the set gasped. Broccoli added that "it wasn't intended for the scene
to go that way but he made a real impact."
I saw the movie last night. It definitely makes an impact.
We were also able to find a photo of the black swimsuit that Craig wears near the end of the film. If anyone has information on this suit, please let us know.

You beat me to the punch with the pic of the black suit-- good work! Be curious to hear if you find out more info about it.

I just saw the film today and I just about melted into a puddle of sex when he walked out of the water. I'm very glad they put the scene into the film. Did anyone contact the label and see if they have any other retailers online or offline that sell that design? i would definitely be interested in buying it.
