N2N Bodywear Cotton Trunk
I recently was lucky enough to get my hands on 2 pairs of the N2N Bodywear Cotton Trunk, in the black/blue combo that you see pictured here and the white/blue combo as well.
When I took them out of the package I was really surprised at how light weight they were and my initial reaction was, "Oh great flop around city here!"
Boy was I ever wrong.
N2N, which stands for Next To Nothing, is exactly what this fabric feels like against your skin and especially your business; however, not at all when it comes to comfort and support.
I was a little hesitant about the cut, as I have mentioned before my quads are a little bit larger and unless I wear a traditional brief cut or the longer boxer brief cut, I tend to experience ride up and bunching.
Never once did I experience any bunching with these undies. They stayed put and so did I. I found them to be comfortable whether I was on the left, the right, up front or flipped over.
First time I jumped into them it felt like I was crawling into a second skin that
was made just for me. Full coverage too for the "junk in my trunk" which is something that I find super important.
The nice low-rise cut is perfect for wearing low-rise jeans, trousers or shorts or while just lounging around the house, like I am right now.
I have yet to wear them to work, as I have been on holidays, but I did wear them around the house for an afternoon and then out for dinner. A buddy of mine came over to pick me up to go grab a few pints and a burger and he saw me in them and even commented on how hot they looked and wanted to know where he could get a pair.
That had me then convinced then that these were in fact an impressive pair of underwear, as my buddy does not care at all what kind of underwear he wears. (I know, I know, I bug him about it all the time!)
As with any new pair of underwear I did put them to the test of seeing how they held up to their original shape and did throw them on again while doing some rigorous house cleaning one day without laundering them.
I wanted to see how they held up and what the comfort level would be without a washing, which usually returns underwear back to the original shape. Again, this second time they felt exactly the same as the first time I wore them. So from my perspective that speaks to hardy construction and the right blend of fabrics.
Speaking of the fabric blend; these undies are constructed of 90% Cotton and 10% Spandex. Care instructions recommend hand washing or machine wash with like colors (of course) and tumble drying on low. I would recommend hanging these to dry as spandex and the dryer do not get along very well at all. If you are going to use the dryer, be sure to use the "low" temperature setting.
My Rating
Now this might be a bit of a shock, because I have always had such strong feelings about another brand of underwear, yet these undies have earned a strong 10 out of 10 from me and the "boss" downstairs.
