David Beckham in Armani underwear at the beach

Giorgio Armani will unveil today at 5:00 pm PST a giant mural featuring an image of David Beckham from the new Emporio Armani Underwear advertising campaign for Autumn/Winter 2008-09. The event will be held at Macy’s in San Francisco.

The mural overlooks an outdoor amphitheater adjacent to Macy’s with seating for 6,000 spectators, where David Beckham will also personally meet two hundred Emporio Armani Underwear customers .

The new advertising campaign was shot on Malibu beach in California, by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and will appear in sport, fashion and lifestyle magazines and on signature billboards in major cities. Thanks to Andy at Towleroad for the tip.
