Johnny Underscore Reviews Obviously for Men's Anatomical Pocket Briefs
Every now and then a solution comes along for a problem you didn't know you had. Some men prefer underwear with plenty of support. Others prefer to let their anatomy hang freely. Then along comes Obviously for Men's Anatomical Pocket Briefs, which cleverly pleases both types of men.
Obviously for Men is anatomically correct underwear. Instead of crushing, cradling, stretching to accommodate, or, worst of all, ignoring, your genitals, Obviously underwear is fitted with a specially designed pocket that envelops your equipment and pulls everything a bit forward and away from the rest of your body. This ingenious technique lets a man hang naturally while still offering support. The look is unusual but very flattering and extremely low-maintenance. After a day of wear they kept their shape well and continued to be "natural" feeling and supportive at the same time.
The showoff-worthy waistband features the Obviously signature logo with a arrow rising out of the second 'O', creating the male symbol. They sit low on the hips but are not as low as many other styles.
Craftsmanship for the Obviously for Men Anatomical Pocket Briefs is very good. The briefs have held up fine after a couple of washings. These are gentle cycle, cold water, tumble dry low briefs. White clothing washed in cold water may or may not stay very white. Time will tell.
The briefs, with pressed-on fabric and care information, are mercifully tagless. Made from a modal/Lycra blend, they're soft and slightly stretchy. Obviously for Men Anatomical Pocket Briefs are true to size and the fit is neither saggy nor tight. The front pocket design will easily accommodate "growers" and "showers" alike.
Based in Brisbane, Australia, Obviously for Men was launched in March 2007 by brothers Robert and Daniel Miljkovic.
The company's web site claims Obviously's unique design reduces the heat build-up of regular underwear which has been linked to reduced sperm count. While it may or not have an effect on a man's ability to reproduce, a man wearing a pair of Obviously for Men Anatomical Pocket Briefs may just have plenty of offers to try.
Available in white, black, red and royal blue. $25-$27 at retailers like International Jock and Dead Good Undies.
