Alex B. gives his take on the 2(x)ist Liquid Cotton Brief
To tell you the truth I didn’t buy the 2(x)ist Liquid Cotton Brief because of the super soft material, or the fit, or because 2xist makes a great product. I bought this underwear because I really liked the colors. The rest of the things I mentioned in this review were just added benefits.
When I pulled these bad boys on they hugged me, not in a snug or tight way, but in a way that said, “I am made of the liquid cotton and I love being your undies.” These briefs are so soft they beat the Aussiebum Flaunt, which until now were the softest pair I owned.
When I first pulled them on they felt about half a size too big but that went away after the first wash. These briefs sport a full back and generous pouch in the front making sure there is room for everything. These briefs breathe well and even when working out or running hold everything just where it needs to be.
My one complaint with these is the waistband construction. From the time I opened the package the waistband had fuzzies on it. You know what I'm talking about -- the little fuzz that forms after years of wear or if Velcro hits it. The blue color from the back is fuzzying through in one spot and if this continues this might be a big downfall. Otherwise the construction is great and holds up to the 2xist name.
As I said, I got these because the styling was like nothing I had seen before. The bright blue racing stripe that runs on one side of the pouch and into the waistband is a new style twist no other company has attempted. Even though I am not a huge fan of full cut briefs, I find these extremely sexy, mostly because of the attractive styling.
Another great thing about these is the price. These briefs are only $16 from International Jock and for a pair of soft, sexy and good-looking briefs that is a good deal.
Overall, I give the 2xist Liquid Cotton No Show Brief a total score of 9.5 based on the following criteria:
FIT -- 10 (out of 10)
STYLE -- 10 (out of 10)
QUALITY -- 8(out of 10)
VALUE -- 10 (out of 10)
