The Bourbon Street Controversy: What I've learned and how you can help!
Well, you, the readers of UndiesDrawer have spoken (feel free to add a comment to the post if you haven't done so yet) and made two points about the Bourbon Street Wear photos that were getting such rampant feedback:
1) Many of you just don't like the model and the photos. I'm amazed at the outpouring of disgust at the photos and the model. We've had some who liked them, but the vast majority of the commenters so far just weren't into it.
2) I posted too many of them. For this, I apologize. We've done photo series in the past of all sorts and lengths, and I'll admit that I've always wondered if there was a tipping point where you would say, "Enough of this series!" You clearly found that tipping point with the Bourbon Street Wear series. I apologize for wearing you out with it and going overboard.
If I can ask anything of you -- please be patient. Thousands of people view UndiesDrawer every day, and different readers are into different content, and it's very difficult from our place to know what will connect on a broad scale and what won't since we don't get tons of feedback. One example is the several posts in a series I did in early 2007 called "View From The Stall" of photos of my pants and underwear around my ankles each day while I was in a toilet stall. In that situation, the feedback was almost half and half positive and negative, but ultimately the negative feedback was so more strongly negative, I decided to discontinue the series. Running a site like this is truly a process of trial and error on content, and so far, we've had a pretty successful run of over 3-1/2 years of pretty good successes with just a few flops thrown in.
One point I want to make: I respect your trust as my readers, and I do my best to always tell you when something is an advertisement. The banner ads are obvious around the site and those help make all this happen, and I always make a point to note paid write-ups like the ads you see interspersed amongst the posts by marking them as a "sponsored post". Most (though not all) of the underwear we review is sent to us from retailers or the company that produced the underwear, and we do our best to clearly identify in the reviews who sent us the underwear we're reviewing. We also sometimes use affiliate links depending on what site we're linking to so we can make spare change if you buy something at a site we link to, and again, that's something that supports our ability to stay online. Ultimately, I believe in being honest with our readers because you make this site happen on a day-to-day basis, so I do my best to point out paid content versus regular content as much as possible. The Bourbon Street photos weren't paid content -- yes, despite the general discontent, I really did just like the photos and think the underwear is very creative, and I still do.
Let me tell you how you can help:
-- Comment on posts to give us your feedback.
-- Send us things you like: mens underwear news, photos, videos, products and links -- you can email "tips (at) undiesdrawer.com".
-- Send us YOUR photos by emailing "yourphotos (at) undiesdrawer.com".
-- Join the UndiesDrawer Forums and join the conversation in the underwear community.
-- Don't just click on our ads and links. Buy your underwear from our sponsors after clicking through.
-- If you think you can write and have the necessary technical skills, email me at "jayzallme (at) undiesdrawer.com" to write as a blogger for UndiesDrawer.
All of these things help make UndiesDrawer happen and build up the men's underwear community we've started here and are continuing to develop.
And, one more thing, why not drop a few dollars toward HIV/AIDS research by donating through our amFAR donations page? There's been only 1 donation so far, which I find very disappointing. If you're a regular at UndiesDrawer, step in to be a part of the community we've created here, and pitch in to help the causes, both through supporting the site's efforts and through support amFAR's efforts.

Man i don't understand all this noise.
There are people who don't like the pics, my advise, don't look at them, because there are people who like them.
We need to resepect others to get some respect.
I would prefer it less dark, some light would improve that pics, but it is ok, the model is hot.
And whe there is something i don't like, i don't see it
