It's been all over the blogs this week that Chris Brown has launched a new men's underwear line called Big Headed Boxers. Honestly, we weren't too impressed with the basics on the boxers, so we haven't posted anything about it.
The Big Headed website is high-tech with live models walking around, and the girl on the front image is hot and naked, but beyond that, it didn't quite seem newsworthy. The Big Headed boxers have been supposedly designed to not rise up, and I'm curious what technology is involved there or if it's all hype. The boxers will be running $24-35 per pair, which is pretty steep, so we'll have to see what makes them so special. Maybe we'll get a chance to wear them and get a little more impressed.
What prompted the post today is that we noticed that Usher has announced that he will soon be getting into the "men's lingerie" market.
We just find it curious that two different African American celebrities are rolling into the men's underwear scene in a very short span. And, digging one level deeper, it's interesting how few American male celebrities have stepped into the men's underwear market as an extra source of revenue despite the boom in the underwear market.

I'm a little skeptical on this one. I definitely wrote an article about this in 2006 and as far as I can tell this brand has nothing to do with Chris Brown. http://www.mensunderwearblog.com/2006/01/big-headed.html
