Superheroes in their underwear -- Spiderman

So far, every time I see Peter Parker in his underwear, he's got on white briefs. He must be a tighty whitey man. This Spiderman underwear image and others are available at Shirtless Superheroes.

You know, the first Spider-Man movie (with Tobey Maguire) seemed to indicate as much as well--in his first moment after realizing he's been effected by the spider-bite and he's looking at himself in the mirror shirtless after he had that awful sleep, you can see the waistband of some tighty-whities sticking out slightly (possibly Fruit of the Loom, from my best estimate). Rather boring, but what can you do?
