Directly before the New Year, the New York Times promised that men's tidy white underwear is, in fact, trampling back with a vengeance to replace a seasonsworth of bright-color briefs, xtra-xtra bold logo waistbands and extremities like shimmery nylon fabrics and body-hugging micro modal (okay, well maybe some sweat-stainless fabrics would stay around, if allowed). According to Freshpair president Michael Kleinmann, a few men's underwear companies avoided the "fashion" selection of prints and brights for a simpler preference of recession-friendly multipack cotton briefs in solid colors or, well, classic white.
My question is, how many of Undiesdrawer readers are believers in this "marvel of minimalism" aka the white brief? Are any of you persuaded to trade in your bright and bold from Freshpair, the fun-loving themes of Ginch Gonch, or the sexy styles of Calvin Klein underwear (you know, the ones that aren't white). Let us know what you're thinking, and let individualistic undies prevail!

Does your Undiesdrawer future lie in a white palette?

I love my whites but all the other colors and less "straight forward" ones are very enjoyable. I like to rise to all the different undergear colors.......

I have few to no white ones in my rotation at present, and hardly any at all in comparison to other colors. (All those years of having nothing but white really got on my case as a kid...!) I would consider some things in white, but on the whole, they don't do a lot for me, and just make me think the guy wearing them quite often still has his mom or his wife buy his skivvies for him (which is often true!). Though, in fairness, I prefer basic tighty whities over boring old boxers any day of the week...
