Here is another exciting discovery on my recent trip to Asia, Wacoal - Crosswalker! Wacoal, is a Japanese underwear brand, who focused mainly on female lingerie, however, recently years the company has invested in the male market as the sale of men's underwear has grown 10% in Japan last year.
The product that I am going to share with you today is an innovative underwear that helps your to burn fat. Yes, a underwear not only shapes your body, but also helps you to burn fat! Thanks to the Japanese scientist, now men can look better in their trousers, at the same time, looks fit after taking it off.
The cross fiber on the thigh supposed to put pressure on your muscles while walking in order to help burning the fat. Sorry, I am not a scientist and it might sound like a miracle, but with over 700 thousand pairs sold within 10 month, I think it most have done something right! So while I was there, I bought one and tried it on myself...
It is very form fitting, but not as tight and uncomfortable as I had imagined. The sales lady kindly taught me the proper steps on HOW to put it on. You are suppose to roll it up to fit to your body instead of stretching it. I could not wait, so I went to the restroom to try it on right away! The style I bought is the second generation, in addition to the cross structure on the thigh, there is a heat pad on the back, which also helps to burn your body fat. The fabric is very soft, I would have no problem wearing it daily.
So, I started walking...The first noticeable feeling was the heat pad at the back. It started to warm up as I walked. It made the cold nights not as bad. Since it is form fitting, I notice how my posture changed and my lower abs are tight. As I walked more, I started to feel the pressure on the thigh, I guess it is doing something. I am impressed with the innovation, quality, and the style of the crosswalker.
You might ask, does it work? Did I lose weight? I have to tell you the truth, I have not had the chance to wear it again since I got back to the States, as I have not had the opportunity to walk. The company stated that you need to wear it at least 5 days a week, and walked more than 6,000 steps per day and you will see the result in 1 short month. So if you live in a city like Tokyo, Taipei, New York or Boston and you walk on daily basis, I think this would be a perfect underwear for you! Other than the Crosswalker, Wacoal also design several other collections under the BROS and DAMS brands.
I am not fluent in Japanese, but this is a funny viedo about the Crosswalk. As the person is explaining about the design and how it helps to shape your body, the other guy keeps pointing to the crotch area and asking , " how about here?" Wouldn't it be great if the next generation underwear helps you grow in THAT area? ;)

How much is the Crosswalker? I cannot seem to find an "english-friendly" webpage on the website.
