Men's Sports Briefs Are The Winner!
I checked out an article where the question asked was "what's the safest type of men's underwear for playing sports?" You know, what kind of men's indies are going to stop your package from being damaged when you're playing basketball, rugby, soccer, baseball, football, etc.?
In the article. they tried out five different types of men's undies: polyester boxers, poly/cotton boxers, cotton briefs, cotton/spandex briefs and sports briefs. They tested them in two ways. They had five footballers each wear one type. They also had them tested at a lab for airflow and to see how quickly they let water evaporate.
The fact is if you play any sport (except maybe curling), you know that you want a few things in place to ensure that your jewels feel shiningly wonderful by the end of the game.
First, you don't want excessive sweat collecting. It's uncomfortable and you really don't want to create a city of fungus in the sack area. (I mean, "UGGGHHHHH!")
Second, you want it to remain relatively cool. Heat breeds moisture and that leads to chaffing that leads to irritation and a possible rash of some sort. (I mean, "UGGGGGGHHHHHH!")
Third, you want to feel like your package is secure. You don't want things flopping around in there when you're flopping around out there on the court, field or ice.
So, the findings of the wearers and the lab? Both said that the cotton briefs and the sports briefs performed best in all three categories.
So forego the boxers and cotton spandex men's underwear if you're looking for safety when playing a sport. You'll feel drier, cooler and more secure and be better able to concentrate on the game. The last thing you want to be thinking about when your competing on the field of play is how much play there is in your underwear. That comes after the big game. Or maybe it's the second big game of the day, a double header, if you will.
Play safely!
