Jeremy Lin’s Boxer Briefs up for Auction on eBay

Today I have something a little different for you in terms of underwear news. Jeremy Lin’s plain grey boxer briefs are being sold on eBay with a "Buy It Now" price of $10,000.

The have been put up by eBay seller with the username "tieyourshoe7" with a starting bid of $1,000. Apparently the seller’s brother’s friend went to Harvard, was in the same dorm as Lin, and once took Lin’s boxers from the dryer by accident. Jeremy Lin is a New York Knicks player, who in February 2012, quite unexpectedly led a winning streak for his team and generated a vast global following known affectionately as Linsanity.

This pair of undies is not the first Linsanity item to be sold on eBay. Just last week, Lin’s old jersey from the Erie BayHawks sold for a staggering $13,800. His other items from his Erie days, a shooting shirt and practice jersey, recently fetched $3,750 and $1,914, respectively. And his rookie card sold for $21,580, when card collector Yair Rozmaryn put it up for auction. Rozmaryn had bought the card from another collector for only $1,000 in the early days of Linsanity.

Who knows, maybe his undies will fetch a good price as well.

Mark Wahlberg to Model Underwear Again?

I’m sure at least some of you remember the mid 1990s Calvin Klein Underwear ads featuring Marky Mark. They were, and are still considered some of the hottest underwear ads. And now, Mark Wahlberg has just signed with the underwear maker PRVCY. Does this mean that the now 40 year old actor will strip down to his undies in front of the camera lens again?

During the final show of their tour, Joey McIntyre and A.J. McLean of NKOTBSB came on stage stripped down to their undies. As you can see from the fan video below, McIntyre, wearing only a blue crop top and black boxer briefs, surprised Brian Littrell and Nick Carter during the performance of ‘Quit Playin’ Games (With My Heart).’ The clip is pretty short, but you can get a good glimpse of the underwear-clad singer prancing around the stage.

The heartthrob of many, Justin Bieber, has finally been caught in his underwear, and it's slightly underwhelming.  I would figure Justin was a boxers man, but apparently, he wears boxer briefs, and they're not anything fancy, fashionable or expensive.  They appear to be the most basic of boxer briefs you can buy.  Can anybody name the brand?  I'd think that a man of such means would at least buy some Calvin Klein underwear or something. 

From the post at Bloke Undies, where we found this photo, it sounds like he was hot tubbing in his underwear when the papparazzi snapped this shot.  At the same time, based on the drape in that blue underwear, I'm not going to say that Justin Bieber's penis is small because he's at least got some cock bulge or something visible in this blurry, zoom lens photograph.  This is a decent shirtless pic of Justin Bieber as well, and I'm noticing the tattoo down his left side.  I'll have to Google to see what the tattoo represents.

What would you do if you walked out of your hotel room to find Cristiano Ronaldo in his underwear?

In the past, I've been accused of having a mancrush on Cristiano Ronaldo.  I'm not quite to that leve, but you must admit that this world famous soccer/football player is great looking and has a serious body. 

This video is apparently footage of Ronaldo out in the hallway in his boxer briefs getting some ice out of the ice machine.  The video was purportedly shot at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Moscow the day of Manchester United's final game of the Champions League.  Can someone translate what's being said?

Justin Bieber burns his dirty underwear?

Over the years, we've heard interesting stories about celebrities and their underwear, such as the stores that Mark Wahlberg and David Beckham, at least in one time in life, wore a brand new pair of underwear every single day. 

Now the news comes out today that Justin Bieber's handlers actually burn his dirty boxers to keep his used underwear of the hands of fans, freaks and collectors.  The story at Taletela.com says that while Justin Bieber has been touring, his staff have been forced to create a "burn bag" of Bieber clothing, including the 17-year-old superstar's used underwear, that they then set on fire so the clothing won't be stolen.  Apparently, in Canada last month, a hotel employee was caught trying to steal Bieber undies by hiding them in her handbag.  The Bieber team has now had to take desperate measure to avoid a similar situation in the future.

Opie and Anthony shock jock explains how Weiner photo was released

Today Gregg "Opie" Hughes of the Opie and Anthony show released a YouTube video explaining how exactly his show ended up being the source of the photos that are alleged to show the cock and balls  of Congressman Anthony Weiner.  We explained in an earlier post how it appeared that the photo had been  inadvertently made visible to a video camera streaming live to the Internet as the phone of blogger Andrew Breitbart was passed around the studio.  In the YouTube video, posted below, Hughes gives his take on how the whole situation occurred and obviously trying to make clear that he doesn't believe Breitbart had intentions to release the photo in this way. His partner on the show, Anthony Cumia, has released a similar written statement online.

Did Opie & Anthony tweet pictures of Congressman Wiener's junk?

Gregg "Opie" Hughes and Anthony Cumia, better known as notorious radio hosts Opie & Anthony, may have just posted online photos of the X-rated penis photo that New York Representative Anthony Wiener doesn't want anyone to see. 

The two, who broadcast over Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, along with their sidekick, comedian Jim Norton, today interviewed Andrew Breitbart of Breitbart.com.  Breitbart's website initially broke open the story that Congressman Wiener was sending out photos of himself over the Internet, coming under heavy attack from Congressman Wiener for doing so.  Over the past few days, Congressman Wiener has admitted to the allegations, but it has come to light that Brietbart claims to have an X-rated photo of Congressman Wiener that he has said that he would only release in the event Congressman Wiener further attacked him. 

Apparently, during the interview on the air this morning, Opie and Anthony got a view of a photo on Breitbart's Blackberry that was alleged to be the actual cock shot from Congressman Wiener.  Cumia, while viewing the photo, was in view of a webcam, and Internet viewers watching the webstream apparently captured screenshots of the photo that Cumia was watching and notified him of the screen capture.  From there, things went viral.

Both Hughes and Cumia separately posted screenshots on Twitter after they started receiving images taken from the screen captures.  Hughes' tweet and Cumia's tweet both attached photos of the penis images.  The photos spread through the Internet via social media and have now appeared on Gawker as well as Buzzfeed and other sites.

We, of course, have no certainty that these are actually images of Congressman Wiener's package, but they're being represented as such online.

UPDATE: Through several tweets, Gregg "Opie" Hughes" posted the following explanation via his @OpieRadio Twitter account:  "We had @AndrewBreitbart on the show today, and we prodded him to see the "pic" that was rumored to be out there. He finally passed his phone around to show a pic of @repweiner 's ... well ... "weiner". I believe it was not @AndrewBreitbart's intention to get the pic out there at this time.  As the phone made the rounds around the room to @jimnorton @anthonycumia and myself, the picture was captured by a video camera that was on! I did try to take a pic of @AndrewBreitbart's phone but it came out blurry because @anthonycumia grabbed the phone. Wasn't until @AndrewBreitbart left the studio that we realized what was captured on our video camera."  Hughes also clarified that the photo shown on Anthony Cumia's phone is actually a photo of the video screen captures, not the actual Breitbart image.

David Beckham to Model His Own Underwear Line

Years after this soccer star's Emporio Armani days, we learn that the underwear world has yet to see the last of my favorite (and very possibly yours), David Beckham.

David, who was seen as one of the most famous guys in EA underwear ads from 2008-09, recently confirmed rumors to Women's Wear Daily that he "can't wait" to show shoppers a brand new Mens underwear collection of his own.  While living with couture designer wife Victoria may have stirred up his creative juices, Becks credits working with Emporio Armani as the main inspiration behind his latest -- and most likely smashing -- venture.  The news that has media salivating: David Beckham's underwear line will be modeled by David himself, a decision he thinks his mother may not approve ("I'm not sure my mum will be too happy seeing a billboard image of me in underwear again.")  But Mother Beckham, your son is an International footballer and entrepenuer worth upwards of $200 million.. that has to count for something, right?
