Well Friday has finally arrived and like I said earlier this week it felt like I had 3 Monday's in a row, so I am not afraid to admit I am sure happy the weekend is here.

I am anxiously waiting for it to warm up enough here for the pool to open, so I can park my butt down there and get some sun and fresh air.

Plus with all the new sexy swimwear that has been coming out this season I am sure I am not the only one that is anxious to enjoy some rays and show off some new threads.

1. 3. International Jock continues to have a large collection of items for sale in there clearance section for their May Sale; even though there are some great new colours coming out for Spring and Summer I am pretty sure you can find a couple pairs on sale that will tickle your bits!

Russell Sponsors Underwear Dash of the Chip's Not Dead Yet Memorial Mile

Russell Brewing Company (TSX VENTURE:RB), a producer of premium beer in British Columbia, is the proud to sponsor the 'underwear dash' of the inaugural Chip's Not Dead Yet Memorial Mile. On June 20th, 2008 an expected 1,000 people will run, walk or parade one mile up the hill of 10th Avenue between Alma Street and Blanca Street in Vancouver with a noble goal in mind - to see their entry fee doubled in support of the BC Children's Hospital.

Don't miss the JockBoyLocker photo contest

If you haven't already, be sure to get in on the JockBoyLocker "Jockboy of the Year" photo contest.  The window for submission for entries ends April 30, so you have a little time, but it might take a little preparation if you're really wanting to win.

Here's the deal:  You submit a photo to JockBoyLocker by April 30 through their contest submission page.  Then, on May 1, they put the photos live online for voting through the end of May.  If your photo gets the most votes, you'll win $1000 worth of a combination of men's underwear, swimwear and JockBoy Bucks.  The 2nd place winner will get a similar $500 prize package, and the 3rd place winner will get a $250 prize package. 

Remember that this photo contest is focused on amateur male athletes playing their sport.  The sport doesn't matter -- the contest is inclusive of all sports -- but try to make it fit their focus as much as possible.  A little sex appeal probably wouldn't hurt, but don't completely disregard the main point of the contest.
