We introduced our readers to No Limits Underwear a couple of weeks ago, and since that time, No Limits sent me one of their Mesh Boxer Briefs to try out and review for the site. If you don't know No Limits, their vision is to bring a new line of European men's underwear styles to the United States market at a reasonable price while keeping the looking fresh and sexy. They offer both men's and unisex underwear, but their focus is on the men's underwear market. They also will be rolling out a men's swimwear line in the next few weeks as well.
The particular Mesh Boxer Brief they sent along is product code number 108, and it features horizontal mesh stripes on the side panels. Priced at $23.99 at the No Limits Underwear online store, the price of these European-made boxer briefs is well within the range of other European-style underwear on the market.
The basic structure of the underwear consists of a solid black front with striped mesh side panels and a completely mesh backside. I originally didn't think the back was mesh, because it's a thicker mesh than what's on the side, but when you run your hands through it or look at it up close, it's obviously a mesh fabric. The striped side panels create some eye candy with both the visual break of stripes but also the sensual visual of your skin through the mesh. Atop this frame is a No Limits branded waistband, about an inch thick, with red lettering and a red stripe all the way around.
Over the years, I've tried many different European underwear styles, but I find that European underwear is generally very form fitting and made of more silky fabrics. This No Limits Mesh Boxer Brief fits that style. The fabric content is 95% polyester and 5% spandex, so expect the boxer briefs to be lightweight, stretchy, "spandexy" and sleek. The fabric construction feels durable, and I had no concerns about this underwear staying together in one piece. The thigh cut, to me, is much more like a trunk brief than a boxer brief. It's a high cut that puts the fabric about an inch or two down your thighs from your package, and I enjoy this style more than the longer boxer brief styles. I could envision wearing this Mesh Boxer Brief for a swim, and they would be quick drying and show off your body. Even more, they would be eye-catching at an underwear party where you're modest in black but showing your wild side the mesh sides and back.
My only real criticism is more personal preference than anything. I prefer underwear with pouch room as opposed to underwear that just stretches everything out. Some guys like the more stretched fabric look and feel because it shows off junk by wrapping the fabric around for visual definition, but I enjoy the pouch look because it pulls your junk into a nice visual bundle and lets everything hang out a little in a more natural, and to me, more comfortable stance. This Mesh Boxer Brief does not give you the pouch room that I'm talking about. Instead, it's more of a stretchy fabric approach with no special pouch room stiched into the front panel. With the spandex content in the fabric, this design makes things a little tighter on the crotch, but again, if you've got the junk to show off, this design and fabric combination shows off your package nicely because it stretches the fabric around what you've got underneath.
All in all, this is a solid European boxer brief/trunk brief. It's sexy and sleek, and it's modest in black while hinting at something more dangerous with its stretchy, shimmering fabric, mesh stripes, and mesh across the back.
I'm trying to use more original photography in our men's underwear reviews, and this is the first review in a long time that includes original male underwear model photos from an UndiesDrawer reader who responded to my recent call for photos to help me find men who want to show off a little and model men's underwear. Modeling the No Limits Mesh Boxer Brief in this review is Valdamar. I asked him what he thought of this Mesh Boxer Brief and he said:
"I have never had No Limits undies before. I loved them. I like the lining for comfort inside the pouch. The fabric is smooth and form fitting, and the slivers of sheer lines on the side are hot! The pouch wasn't real roomy, but it wasn't too tight. And it is 95% spandex so it is very stretchy. I liked it."
Enjoy the photos of Valdamar (I'll post more in a separate post) and go check out the Mesh Boxer Briefs and other men's underwear available at the No Limits Underwear web store. And pay attention because No Limits Underwear will be released men's swimwear soon.
