National Underwear Day "Write Your Own Review" UndiesDrawer Giveaway Official Rules

Who says that the celebration of National Underwear Day has to end just because National Underwear Day has passed? We here at UndiesDrawer believe August should be designated National Underwear Month so we can have more time to celebrate.

To join in on our ongoing celebration, through the end of August, enter the National Underwear Day "Write Your Own Review" UndiesDrawer Giveaway, sponsored by Freshpair.com, C-IN2, 2(x)ist, Skiviez.com and International Jock. Three (3) winners of the contest will each receive ten (10) free pairs of underwear of their preferred size.

Here's how to enter:

1) Write a review (in English, thank you!) of your favorite men's underwear that is at least 250 words long.  If you want to lay it out in a publication fashion for better presentation, you may do so with graphics and images as you desire.

2) Rate your underwear using whatever rating elements and rating scale you want to use (i.e. 1 to 10, 1 to 5, etc.) -- don't feel tied to our rating system here at UndiesDrawer.com.  Just be creative and make sure you tell us what number constitutes a high rating.

3) Save your review in either Microsoft Word .doc format or Adobe Acrobat .pdf format, or if it suits you better, post it to an active webpage for viewing

4) Email the file or the link to us at "contests (at symbol) undiesdrawer.com" and, in the email, include the following:

• Your name
• Your preferred email address
• Your shipping address
• Your preferred size of underwear in US-style sizing (i.e. Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, etc.)

This contest runs through August 31, 2007. At that time, we will read through all the submitted reviews and pick our 3 favorites. We will post the names of the winners and email the winners after we choose, and then shortly thereafter, we will ship the undies of our choice in the sizes preferred by the winners.

There are some people who can't enter this contest:

1) Past or present writers at UndiesDrawer.com (or their immediate family members),

2) Employees of Freshpair.com, C-IN2, 2(x)ist, Skiviez.com, and International Jock (or their immediate family members), and

3) writers, owners or editors (or their immediate family members) for any website or blog active between August 15, 2007 and September 1, 2007, that promotes itself as an underwear blog or underwear site.

We here at UndiesDrawer.com will serve as the judges of the entries as well as the judges of disqualified entries. If you have any questions about details, be sure to read the Official Rules below.

1) Entrants must submit an entry by email to "contests (at symbol) undiesdrawer.com" electronically to enter the National Underwear Day "Write Your Own Review" UndiesDrawer Giveaway. No purchase of any kind is required to enter this contest. Each entry email must include the following to be considered a valid entry:

• Name of entrant
• Valid email of entrant
• Shipping address of entrant
• Preferred size of underwear in US-style sizing (i.e. Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, etc.)
• An attached document in Microsoft Word .doc format or Adobe Acrobat .pdf format, or a URL link to a live web page containing the entry, written in English, reviewing the entrant's favorite pair of underwear in prose form in at least 250 words and also judging the underwear's elements on some measurable scale (i.e. scale of 1 to 10, scale of 1-5, etc.). The review may include photos or graphics at the discretion of the entrant.

2) Prize package: Three (3) winners will receive ten (10) pieces of underwear in the US size requested by the winners in their entry email (estimated retail value per winner: $200 USD plus shipping). The specific brands and styles of the items of underwear will be chosen at the sole discretion of UndiesDrawer.com and the sponsors of this content.

3) Contest available only to entrants with shipping addresses in nations to which a package may be shipped from the United States. All other entries will be considered void. Determination as to whether an entry is disqualified under this rule is at the sole discretion of UndiesDrawer.com.

4) One entry per day per person will be allowed. All entries must include a unique, original review entry. Duplicate entries will be void. Please don't use multiple email addresses -- it really confuses things.

5) Only one prize package will be allowed per person, regardless of the number of entries submitted or email addresses used by the person.

6) Any duplicate entries will be deleted, and UndiesDrawer reserves the right to void any entries that appear to be fraudulent or an attempt to stuff the box of entries.

7) Entry materials become the property of UndiesDrawer.com and will not be acknowledged or returned. UndiesDrawer.com will not be responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected or illegible entries or unsuccessful attempts to notify the winners.

8) Past or present bloggers of UndiesDrawer.com, employees of C-IN2, 2(x)ist, Skiviez.com and InternationalJock.com, and their immediate family members are not allowed to enter. In addition, writers (or their immediate family members) for any website or blog active between August 15, 2007 and September 1, 2007, that promotes itself as an underwear blog or underwear site are not allowed to enter. Determination as to whether an entrant is disqualified under this rule is at the sole discretion of UndiesDrawer.com.

9) Contest ends on August 31, 2007 at 11:59:59 PM Central Standard Time. Entries will be read and judged by the writers of UndiesDrawer, and the three (3) entries deemed to be the best entries in the discretion of the writers of UndiesDrawer.com will be announced by a post on UndiesDrawer.com and an email will be sent to each winner by the email listed with the entry. Entrants should make sure any spam filters are set to allow emails using the domain "undiesdrawer.com" to pass through to the entrant's inbox. UndiesDrawer will not be responsible because the notification email was filtered as spam on the entrant's end. It is the responsibility of the entrant to properly set spam filters and/or check spam folders for the notification email.

10) By submitting an entry to this contest, entrants acknowledge that UndiesDrawer.com may print the first name, first initial of last name, and city and state submitted to UndiesDrawer.com (example: Jay Z., New York, NY) in the entry if the entrant wins. Entrants who have concerns about publication of their name, first initial of last name and city and state should be sure to include a "handle" or pseudonym to be used when publishing the names of winners, in addition to their real name for shipping purposes.

11) By submitting an entry to UndiesDrawer.com, the entrant transfers all copyrights, rights of publication and other intellectual property rights to UndiesDrawer.com. UndiesDrawer.com reserves all rights to publish said reviews and associated graphics, images or other media, in any form or fashion deemed desirable by UndiesDrawer.com and the entrant waives copyrights or other rights to the entry's contents.

12) Choice of underwear items shipped and time of shipment will be at the sole discretion of UndiesDrawer.com. UndiesDrawer.com will cover the cost of shipment of the items to the winners. UndiesDrawer will not be responsible for entrants who submit an underwear size that ends up fitting too small or too large, and UndiesDrawer.com reserves the right to substitute different sizing in underwear with Euro sizing or other unique sizing elements in an attempt to match the actual fit communicated by the entrant's stated size. No returns or exchanges will be allowed.

13) UndiesDrawer.com will be responsible for any items lost or damaged in shipment.

14) All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.

15) Income and other taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the Winner.

16) UndiesDrawer.com is not responsible for any expenses incurred by participants in connection with participation in the contest.

17) Use of the contest or UndiesDrawer.com to engage in "flaming" or other inappropriate "netiquette" is prohibited.

18) By submitting an entry form, each participant agrees to be bound by these contest rules, and agrees that the decisions of UndiesDrawer.com are final.

19) Each participant agrees to release and hold UndiesDrawer.com, its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives and its subsidiaries, parent companies or other affiliated companies harmless from any and all damages, losses, claims and/or liabilities arising out of his/her participation in the contest or resulting from accepting or claiming of any prize awarded hereunder.

22) UndiesDrawer.com reserves the right to cancel the contest in the event of a computer virus, technology problem or error or otherwise in its sole discretion at any time.
