Sure, there's quite a few eycandy-type of posts this week, but what's one more photo of a hot guy in underwear? Welcome, I should say. This week's Photo Find comes from the pages of the issue #131 of DNA magazine. The magazine features a very hot photo story of sports and fitness model Bo Roberts, as photographed by David Vance. And here is little sample:

Tim Tebow Signs With Jockey

Just thought you’d be interested to know that, as of this July, the pro football quarterback Tim Tebow is the new spokesperson of Jockey International. He’ll model several of Jockey’s lines, including the Jockey “Staycool” collection, which will be launched in spring 2011. Tebow will be featured across the entire Jockey range of promotional materials, including their catalogues, TV and print ads, and on the Jockey.com website. Tim also signed a multiyear contract so we should be able to enjoy those ads for quite a while. He’s, as he put it, excited to be given the opportunity to represent the brand, and has been a Jockey customer for a long time. As for Tim’s career, he was a first round NFL draft pick in 2010. While still in college he won two national championships and was the first sophomore winner of the Heisman Trophy. He’s also won the Maxwell Award twice as the nation's top college football player. And as if all this wasn’t enough, he’s also the winner of the Davey O'Brien Award as the nation's best college quarterback, and the James E. Sullivan Award as the nation's most outstanding amateur athlete. So he’s definitely an up and comer, and a great addition to the world of men’s underwear models. At least as far as I am concerned.

Cocksox World Cup 2010 Tribute

As you may or may not know, the soccer, or football, World Cup 2010 is over. Spain won, so go Spain, but I am not the only one cheering here. Today I thought I’d give you something to rest your eyes on and give you a little break from reading. This photo is from Flickr user ALLIS2008’s photostream and doesn’t require much introduction, now does it? It’s also kind of fitting, what with the Soccer World Cup still in full swing. Though the guy in the picture is not, at least not to my knowledge, a professional soccer player. Not that it really matters, right? He sure wears those socks well though.

World Cup Fever at Vanity Fair

Vanity Fair magazine decided to jump on the bandwagon and take part in promoting the World Cup fever that is sweeping the world.  In the June Issue of the magazine you can enjoy the sight of the biggest football stars wearing underwear the color of their national flags.  Football, or soccer and the men who play it may not be as popular in the US, but it's still not a sight to be missed.  And don't these pictures just sort of make you want to cheer? World renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz traveled all over the world to get these shots, including to London, Milan, Madrid and Brooklyn.  And all this to bring us the pictures of football playing hotties, such as USA's Landon Donovan, Ivory Coast’s Didier Drogba, Brazil's Kaka, Cameroon’s Samuel Eto’o, Germany's Maichael Ballcak and more in various stages of undressing and undress.   To read more and view the rest of the shots visit the Vanity Fair website.

Cristiano Ronaldo For Emporio Armani Underwear

The World Cup craze has obviously also made its way into the world of designer underwear.  And who can blame them?  The sculpted bodies of professional soccer players really will go with anything.  Today I have another football-playing hottie, the Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo for you.  He is appearing in the new Emporio Armani Underwear campaign, and need I say more?   Even though I just wrote about the D&G men's underwear advertising campaign yesterday, I just could not help but share these steamy images with you today.  And just in time before today's match between Portugal and the Ivory Coast.  The campaign will only be unveiled fully in July, so enjoy these previews until then.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been chosen as the face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans’ fall/winter 2010-2011 collections. The images were shot in Madrid where this 24-year old cutie plays for the local team, Real Madrid.   The full set of images from this advertising campaign will appear on billboards in most major cities worldwide, such as Los Angeles, New York, London and others, as well as online.  But this won't happen until later this summer.  Then in September an online commercial and a short film featuring Cristiano Ronaldo will be released.  But that's quite a while from now, so enjoy this sneak peak!

Dolce&Gabanna Underwear Advertising Campaign In keeping with the football craze that is taking over the world at the moment due to the world cup, D&G Underwear have chosen 5 of the best known Italian football players to be the stars of their new advertising campaign. The stars of this campaign are Antonio Di Natale, Vincenzo Iaquinta, Claudio Marchisio, Federico Marchetti and Domenico Criscito and they were photographed Mariano Vivanco, an internationally-famed fashion photographer. The setting of the campaign is an old-school, beige colored changing room, which set off the stars’ sculpted, athletic and healthy bodies all the more. But you can see all of that from the pictures, right?

 
 

A Little More About the Stars

Antonio Di Natale is a forward player on the Udine team. In the 2009/2010 season, he was crowned the top goal scorer ever in his team’s history. He has been playing on the Italian National team since 2002, when he was just 25 years old.

Vincenzo Iaquinta has been playing on the Italian National team since 2005. When he is not playing for his country’s team, he earns his bread as a forward in the Juventus football club.

Claudio Marchisio is currently a midfield player for the Juventus football club. He first wore the National team jersey in 2009 at the age 23, so he’s set to be around for a long time.

Federico Marchetti currently defends the goal of the Cagliari football club. He has been playing for the National team, as the second goalkeeper, since 2009.

Domenico Criscito is a midfielder/defender for the Genoa football club. He made his debut for the National team in 2009, when he was just 22.

Briefs That SHOULD Have Been Seen in Super Bowl Ads

Spectators of last Sunday's Super Bowl ads (and the game, while you were at it) could agree on one thing:  It could have been officially named 2010's Bad Mens Underwear Bowl.   All the males could have used better underwear.  Whether you found the lose-your-pants commercials funny, like herd of middle-aged men in briefs running for Dockers, or simply ill-placed, Men's underwear fans would have been more enticed at the sight of exciting, body-flattering undies like the ones you see at Undiesdrawer.  

Perhaps some purple bamboo, like C-IN2U's Bamboo Army Trunk (right).  Maybe next year.

New Body for Armani Men's Undies is Cristiano Ronaldo

 

Cristiano Ronald, the new men's underwear model for Armani, knows how to kick balls. Soccer balls, that is. (That's footballs outside of the U.S.) The winger replaces David Beckham as the body for Armani and with his extreme six-pack, which has been wrought by doing up to 3,000 sit ups per day, people will being saying "David who?" immediately.

The 24-year old, who plays for Real Madrid, has earned obvious praise from Giorgio Armani. Armani is quoted as saying, "Cristiano is a great-looking young man with the perfect physique of an athlete." Okay, Giorgio that's a real "duh" statement. Of course he looks like an athlete, he IS one! I mean call him a "god," even more specifically an "Adonis," or a perhaps a "statue crafted by Michelangelo?" 

 

Yes, Giorgio (to use the title of a very bad film staring Pavarotti), Ronaldo is definitely an athlete. That is def. Hi-def. 

Armani did have a few insightful comments and observations, saying, "For me, he is the essence of youth- spontaneous, exciting and a real maverick. It is for his energy that I have chosen Cristiano to become the new face of Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear- for his youthful, exciting, and, yes, sexy attitude."

In the men's underwear photos, Ronaldo offers a range of looks from pouty to effervescent. Noted for his stylistic statements, the former Manchester United footballer, has worn a range of looks, including a whole lot of baby pink, tight shorts and a pink flower behind his ear, and metallic hotpants. 

When his fashion sense caused a stir a few years back, the buff and tough wing man said, "I don't know why people are so interested in what I wear on holiday. Men wear pink these days." Then, proving he has a sense of humor, he concluded, "Okay, not many men wear flowers, but it's good to be different."

And it's good to be hot. His counterpart, the new female face for Armani is Transformers actress Megan Fox. And she is a fox! Catch Ronaldo in his men's underwear poses. He's a turn on. Yes, that's def, hi-def, too.
